A physiotherapist attends the school each week to support direct input to pupils. Many pupils have an additional physiotherapy programme which is carried out by trained class staff daily or on a number of days per week.

An occupational therapist visits as required to co-ordinate the use of new equipment or other aids to pupils physical well-being. Wheelchair services also repair and amend equipment, on-site where possible.

A speech and language therapist visits weekly to assess pupils on a rolling programme, and provide detailed advice for class staff to implement.

The teacher for the visually impaired or hearing impaired visits twice a year to monitor the development of pupils and provide advice.

The educational psychologist assesses and provides advice, as requested.

The consultant paediatrician holds annual medicals at the school. A part-time nurse supports any on-going medical needs and staff are trained in the administration of medication, and other procedures.
