Contact you within 10 working days of the outreach panel meeting to inform you of the outcome

Establish together how we can best support your school, staff and pupils: observations, inreach, resources, strategy implementation, capacity building

Regularly communicate via email, phone or visits

Adhere to GDPR guidelines

Implement the strategies and support as recommended by the Sandgate outreach team

Build capacity within your school to support the needs of pupils with SEND by cascading information, strategies and resources provided, where appropriate

Provide Sandgate staff with current information: assessments, reports from other professionals

Maintain confidentiality during and after visits to Sandgate

Complete the service evaluation within 3 weeks of notification to provide data for the LA and to support further development of the outreach service

Sandgate staff will work with your school to support pupils/staff but expect actions and strategies to be tried/embedded before accepting other pupils onto the programme

A referral to the Outreach Service should be agreed by either an Educational Psychologist, Specialist Advisory Teacher, Area SENCo or Area SEND team manager.

Once a referral has been made and caregiver consent completed, it will be taken to our outreach panel. You will be contacted you within 10 working days of the outreach panel to inform you of the outcome.
