Fixed Term until July 2026

32.5 hours per week

 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and qualified classroom practitioner to join our school team. We are open to applicants with full time availability and those who have experience of working with students with additional needs in early years, primary or secondary settings.

NJC BS5 SCP 6 £25,989 starting salary depending on experience (pro rata for term time working) 

Monday-Friday - 15-18 hours per week

 

At Sandgate, we have a friendly, collaborative admin team which has grown year on year. We work on all things from ensuring that the day to day tasks of meeting and greeting visitors, transferring phone calls, SIMS registers are all completed, lunches ordered in, invoices are paid on time, contractors are booked in all the way to providing safer recruitment guidance as part of our HR and recruitment function. 

We really do spin a lot of plates; every day is different.

As the fifth member of the administration team you will be fundamental to the function of our school, performing a range of generalist administrative tasks in a helpful, dynamic and proactive way.

We are looking for someone who is organised, confident and able to work in a time sensitive way with excellent communication and admin skills.

Your role will include:

-       communication with parents, schools and other professionals who support pupils

-       meeting and greeting pupils and visitors

-       maintaining confidential records and ensuring that data is held in an appropriate and secure way

-       producing letters, reports and emails

-       support the school leadership team to ensure that the site is safe for pupils and staff

-       completing all necessary office administration from filing and creating databases to making sure that we have                           sufficient supplies of pens and refreshments

-       We can promise a varied working week within a small and supportive team who collaborate effectively across the two             sites.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and flexible classroom practitioners to join our bank of relief staff in our growing school team.

Our relief staff work on an ad-hoc basis when our permanent staff require cover. Sometimes requests are in advance but often work is at short notice to cover absence. Whilst flexibility is the key, we do understand that our relief team may have prior engagements – we respect this and always work in a mutually conducive way.

(This role is term-time only and paid pro rata – approximately 7.5 hours working per week but can be discussed at interview). 

Sandgate is in a very fortunate position to be an expanding school and therefore, we are looking to grow our team further, and for new Midday Supervisors to join our vibrant school community.

Salary OP1 Grade 1 £24,309 inclusive of living wage supplement (pro rata)

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic self-starters to join our friendly, supportive and motivated cleaning team. Ideally, the candidates will have previous cleaning experience, however training is available and mentoring in the team is ongoing. This is a team that collaborates very successfully, in large part due to an experienced, present and supportive line manager.

 

Requirements

 

  • Previous experience preferred but training and mentoring will be given
  • Reliable and hardworking, with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to undertake all cleaning duties with a professional attitude and an awareness that there may be students on site
  • Flexibility to work across either school sites and during the school holidays

Working Schedule Is Usually

 

  • Monday to Friday
  • 3.30pm-6pm
